Saturday in London? Brilliant! If you don’t want to spend much money and still want to do something cool and don‘t mind walking a bit, why not head to Trafalgar Square? It’s right in the heart of London, there’s usually some nice event going on. The National Gallery is just there as well and the chance to see famous and priceless paintings can be very inspirational. Around the Square there are many cozy and modern cafes and great bookstores.
From there you are just a walking distance to the famous Big Ben and the Parliament Houses, but if you had seen it before and prefer to avoid the tourist crowd, heading to Covent Garden can be an excellent option. It’s one of my favourite places in London. During the weekend the whole area is usually buzzing with cultural activities where musicians, magicians, actors and actresses and many more demonstrate their talents. There is a market as well, full of local arts and some souvenirs. For the ones that don’t mind spending a bit more, there are nice boutiques and fancy shops around. With a great choices of pubs, restaurants or just a place for a drink and rest your feet I’m sure that you will fall in love with Covent Garden.
