Ironing...

Ironing...I do hate ironing. I cannot avoid thinking about the pile of clothes waiting for me though. Yes guys, living abroad, mainly in Europe means that we are supposed to do our own ironing, and when I say we, that includes men too. Only very rich people or professional people with fantastic wages can afford to pay regularly for somebody to do their ironing every week. Here in England for example that would cost a minimum f £10 an hour (and I am not talking about London where the prices can be much higher). If you are considering to move to England be prepared to say goodbye to that lady who cleans your house for you in Brazil. Cleaners here also charge a minimum of £10 per hour and they usually stay only 2 or 3 hours in each house. The Sterling Pound is about R$6,00 at the moment. Are you wondering if you should change jobs? Lol...you are not the only one lol.

At the hairdresser's...

I took my daughter to the hairdresser last week. It was a pamper time for her. A real treat!
She had a wash, cut and blow dry. She loved it, mainly because after the blow dry her hair was really straight. Usually it's naturally wavy and slightly curly. We tried to keep the length with a bit of layers, it was really just a trim. She keeps asking me when will she be allowed to have some highlights done. "Not yet" I say, she's only 11 and with a beautiful hair colour.
