It's spring time in England and almost summer. My favourite time of the year. The bare trees from winter now give place to this lush green colour. I just love it! I am counting the days for our summer holidays. No heavy coats and boots, shorts and Havaianas instead.
How's the weather where you are? What are you looking forward to?

Who would like to be in London right now? No doubt, one of my favourite cities in the world. Having said that , not everybody likes the crowded underground, the busy streets and fast pace of life. I have some Brazilian friends that live in England and hate the idea of going to London and I also have some English friends who try to avoid at all costs a visit to our capital city.
Like I said before, I love it! Every time a friend or family member comes to visit us, we need to pay a visit to some of the biggest attractions London has to offer. For my mum and her friend the Big Ben, The Tower of London, Tower Bridge and Piccadilly Circus were the nicest places.
Have you ever been to London? Do you plan to study or live here? I hope you enjoy.

Wow! Almost two months without a post here but I had good reasons for my absence. My mother came from Brazil to visit us in England, and we decided to travel a little bit too. It was my mum's dream to visit Lisbon in Portugal and the City of Fatima. Unfortunately the weather wasn't the best most of the time, too cold according to my mum but nonetheless it didn't stop us from sightseeing and trying the Portuguese cuisine. Pasteis de Nata (Portuguese tarts) and postas de bacalhau com grao de bico (cod with chickpeas) were our favourites.
The best part of course was to see grandmother and granddaughter reunited and so happy together.
